Unlocked electric currant, then it just disappeared??

I just unlocked this plant by completing the "epic quest electric boogaloo", used it for a few stages, quit the game, then upon restarting the game, my plant is gone?? No it's not in almanac.

I went to check if the game is glitched and I have to redo the epic quest, no the epic quest is not there either. Wtf?? Apparently the game thinks I already completed the quest so it's not showing up again, but it decides to erase my plant?

I got the aloe plant with no problem, and it didn't disappear.

I'm on iOS, latest PvZ2 version 5.1.1.
