My thoughts on PvZ3: Evolved (Plus feedback)
So Plants vs. Zombies 3: Evolved just dropped the Seedling Beta build and, it's actually REALLY GOOD. Good job modern Popcap team! Though there's some complaints I have, some are small. but It can work (You can even probably fix em during this beta test internally if the changes are that small)
- Lack of Shovel - The lack of shovel makes it so that i can end up merging the wrong plants and it ends up messing up the strategy. (Shovel is in UI concept image below)
- Lawn Backgrounds - The Lawn backgrounds are too blurry in-game compared to everything else, it looks good when you are far away but when you zoom in a little it's more noticable.
- Seed Slot Amount - The amount of max seed slots is still five, you guys have enough space to put in a sixth seed slot (UI concept image below)
- Plants in water visual bug - There's a visual bug with some plants (like Twin-Sunflower as seen in the image below) when in water.
- Zombie spawning + Zomb-Timer - The zombie spawning is still too quick at the start, maybe add a Zomb-timer or something at the corner to tell the time of zombies are approaching so you can set up your starting defenses (it can be 15-25 seconds)
- Base plants balancing - Some of the base plants are fine stat wise, but some changes should be made.
Bop Choy - 100 Sun > 75 Sun
Tangle Kelp - 50 Sun (Costs 25 Sun if planted in water!)
Zaptail - 40 Sun > 50 Sun
Water Cost Penalty (For when you place base plants in water) - 50 Sun > 25 Sun
That should be it for my feedback and suggestions on the newest build of Plants vs. Zombies 3.
