The Bamboo Shooter should be more resistant.
Many times I found myself in situations where several zombies were close to reaching the house and I had nothing to defeat them, since none of my plants could stand up to them. And I think I could have been saved if this plant had been strong enough to deal with the zombies in that situation.
The bamboo, in terms of statistics, is balanced. It has a strong attack that can defeat a zombie in two hits and an area attack that is useful on several occasions. However, it is still a poor plant. Its high price and slow attack prevent it from being useful for several waves. In many games, I think using this plant is a waste of suns, and instead, I could have used cheaper peashooters or saved up for a Bonk Choy, which could defend a row on its own. The bamboo doesn't have any characteristic that can say "this plant could have been useful instead of...". Normally, we think that any other plant would be more useful than the bamboo. That's why I think this feature would make it more useful, in addition to adding that characteristic that makes it special.
Bamboos are known for being highly resilient plants, so it would make sense for this one to be as resistant as a wall-nut. Also, there aren't many defensive plants in the game.
This could justify its high price, as it would serve a similar function to planting a peashooter and a wall-nut together. This plant could not only serve for attacking but also be useful as a shield for other plants like the Peashooter, Bonk Choy, or the sunflowers.
With more advantages, if the plant were more resistant, zombies would accumulate in front of it, allowing for more zombies to be defeated using its area attack.
Due to its high cost, I believe this would be a better way to improve this plant, without the need to change its attack speed or the amount of suns it costs. Besides, it would be correct, as in reality, bamboos are very resistant. I hope someone takes my suggestion into account.
