Tombtastic Adventure not working

Tombtastic Adventures seems to be glitching out for me. 

Whenever I try to enter the event, it immediately takes me to the progress screen, where none of the buttons to play, or exit work. They do click, and act like I'm pressing them, but nothing happens. I have to restart the game at this point. 

First gen iPad pro, IOS Version 16.7.11
