- I had a feeling this was going to happen. The second i seen that the rest of the outfits were going to be locked behind Rux i knew they were going to be 1mil coins because they are legendary outfits. Not only did they slowly spread out the rest of their outfits they put them behind a heavy paywall.
So unless you got the two outfits for free this means you need 4 million coins just to buy all of the remaining outfits and 6 million for those that didn't.
How anyone is going to grind that amount of coins before the 16th, i have no idea. (i believe the post said Rux is selling them all until the 16th?) Wauww...take a lot of hours to collect 1 million coins. I think 250K or 500K is a more reasonable price.
With that said, I will not buy and save my precious TIME for fair purchase.
- AceB0117 years agoSeasoned Veteransomehow i got that feeling that these customization's would cost 1m of coins.. and voila there's lol
A fear I have is a "real money" pack containing those characters and customizations may appear somehow after the 16th to capitalize on their disappearance.

I'm not surprised but am disappointed by this cost. Some of us do have a lot of coins (I had saved a ton in anticipation of new packs), but many do not. They obviously want people to buy coin packs but this will often have the opposite effect; instead of newer players or those that can't play too much being incentivized to play more or buy the coins, they may very well stop playing altogether. In a game that focuses on multiplayer matches we can't afford to drive new players away.
I agree... not surprised but disappointed... I'm pretty sure Justin said in the live stream that the cost was very reasonable or something similar... reasonable for whom I'm not sure.
Terribly unfair to many folks, those with not the time, children who had saved like mad for the update and still cant afford even the customisations. There would have been a lot of disappointed kids out there (and adults) last night.
And not only but also... those that had the gingerbread dude and rudolf as their legacy gift got offered nothing yesterday... why are they doing it like that. Slow drip feed after all the hype.
Very disappointing.
Buying coins is surely hugely expensive, I would never do that but even if I wanted to I could not justify such a lot of cash for game coins.
Do a lot of folks buy them?I came here to rant about that too !
Is this a joke ? I mean come on.. 2.5M of coins is worth 65€, are you kidding me ? I have 2M saved, if i buy them i'm screwed for anything that comes after that unless i start grinding the game and that's what got me to quit after i reach max level ! (that and no more updates)
I'm also very disappointed. 500k is already a lot of money to get for legedary hats ! I'm not buying... even if that mean i'll never finish my customization book.
Either lower the prices or change the coin reward in every game mode...
I've 4 million coins, spent hours to collect them for 4 months, and I don't feel it's worthy to spend 4 million for 4 customizations then back to zero again and need to start grinding again....for what? another customization?
If this's for a new legendary character, I'm willing to pay, but not customization.
My son and I absolutely love this game. We got Wishmaker and Tree-X whatever as our free ones. I COULD NOT believe how much the Torchwood and Hover Goat customizations were when I saw them. It would cost US $64.99 to get that many coins for both.
We got the game (and our PS4) last Christmas, so we started a bit behind with the game. I thought the Feastivus customizations were so cool and would love to have these two, but $64.99 at Christmas time? Come on, EA... good grief... and you took some snowman away that we'll never get to meet...
PS I felt this was such a ridiculous move by you guys that this is my first post EVER in this forum...
I’m on my last couple of hundred customisation, and have already paid this for other legendary customisation, so no surprise to me!
One helpful hint I would give is to sign up to Microsoft Rewards. Yes, it takes a while, but for the sake of a few clicks every day and using Bing as search engine you gather points that you can use to pay for your Xbox live subscription - or for Xbox gift codes that you can use for GW2 coin packs etc.
im letting Microsoft pay for all that stuff for me :D
