Can you open the 50 rainbow star chest every time a new mystry portal opens or can u open more than one every mystery portal

Only one per event. Many people like to bank 50 stars during an event so they can open the 50 star chest right away when the next event starts. A benefit to this is that if you suck at or just hate the next event, you can pretty much give it a pass.
