They have changed turf takeover to 8v8 to see what it’s like (for lag I bet) what do you lot think.

I saw that on the discord. I don't mind 12v12 but with 8v8 it may be less chaotic, matches will fill up faster, and maybe it is indeed meant to address the lag that seems pretty common.

We've been discussing this change (8v8 TT) for a while. With the TTK changes we felt it was the right time to try it out. We're hoping for a little less chaos. Any positive impact to perf (there might be some) is inadvertent. As mentioned, we'll be waiting for feedback. 🙂- @Meadoz I've mixed feelings. Less lag is good, more teamwork & strategy is good but if you don't get team-spirited players, everyone's playing their character challenges or if there's team-swapping, well, you're stuffed 😬
tt is the best Mode and I think that being 8vs8 less players less chaos = less fun
- I guess I'll have to try to give a verdict tomorrow - I can't get into a single mode of any multiplayer game! Have tried several times to get into Turf, the weekly event & Ops, but am just hanging on the "FINDING THE BEST MATCH" screen for 5 minutes at a time before I cancel, even after re-starting.
- @ToastedSarnie I had that when I first logged in after the update. My XBOX didn't download the patch automatically, so I had to do it.
To be fair tho 8v8 is really dead. I've also noticed the games are normally one-sided
Everyone, 12v12 Turf Takeover is making its return on February 25 (next week). Hooray! 😃
- @TheSprinter85 Did they tweet about it? Must have missed it.. Glad to have 12v12 back though. Though maybe on PC it won't matter.
