pvzgw2 keeps closing no matter what i try

it keeps closing after a bit of playing no matter what i do, i've updated tpm, i've updated drivers, capped the fps at 55 in the steam properties since i have 165hz refresh rate, secure boot, repairing the ea anti cheat, uninstalling it, rebooting and installing it again on admin, clearing cache, etc, everything you could ever find to try to fix it, and nothing's worked. It's insanely frustrating, I have wanted to play this game on pc since it's my childhood game, but this experience has been nothing but frustrating, please help.
