Could we please get some clarification on what the statement means?
Was it really just to soften the shock until everybody forgot about it?
If the team is working on another game already, why say it could change if it clearly can't?
Is assigning the PvZ shooters to another team being taken into consideration or what do you guys want feedback on?

I know that in the CM message we have, they said that they will provide us with more information in the coming weeks. But what information could we get? The franchise is still dying? What, you know? This could ever so possibly mean something, but this time, I’m going to be pessimistic.
- benn1nat0r5 years agoSeasoned Ace@TheSprinter85 I mean it could indicate there's hope. The wording precisely states it doesn't have to happen this way. The decision still seems to have been made already, so what was the point of asking for feedback? "Do you want your favorite game to die? Tell us!". I don't really understand what kind of feedback they expected. Some are angry, because while gw2 also only had one year of active support, but still had more content in those updates. Some, like us, say they're sad. maybe they want feedback on the balancing part. Maybe they're deciding whether no new content with bug fixes and quality control is better, or adding a little bit more and not fixing bugs after?

- benn1nat0r5 years agoSeasoned Ace@TheSprinter85 I think the team must have been receiving messages in the likes of "not enough profit" for a few months. They knew EA would discontinue BfN, so they tried to introduce features that are useful for the future. It seem like it, at least. They introduced private play and bots, so the game will be enjoyable even if the public lobbies are empty. They tried to get the some more content (Iceburg Lettuce) finished quickly, but didn't have enough time. I think they scrapped Berry Brigade, as it was a complex character and put lettuce on the side, to work on Wildflower & TV Head. They knew they would be able to finish them before the ned. When they were finished working on them, they made one last attempt at getting Iceburg Lettuce out in time. That's what I think happened, based on the datamining. If this is accurate, I admire them for doing their best.
