This is such a lazy way to "fix" the problem. Adding this Anti-Cheat to Garden Warfare 2 did absolutely nothing but harm the player base. Cheaters run rampantly online just as common before the Anti-Cheat was added, but now the game runs worse. Easy Anti-Cheat prevented cheating, something yours didn't, and now you are replacing it for a less functional one. Instead of adding the Anti-Cheat as a band-aid solution, maybe the team should, I dunno, patch the actual exploit. This is a multi-billion dollar corporation, you are financially able to care for old games.
The fact EA gloated so hard about caring for the game and wanting fair play online, despite none of the feedback regarding the Anti-Cheat was considered is pathetic and reveals how they view the game and community. Adding EA Anti-Cheat to GW2 was just a publicity attempt to get praise from the general public for solving a problem that didn't get solved. You fooled the community once, shame on us. You can't fool us twice though, we know what will happen.
Be better. Treat your fans with actual respect. I know the community managers don't call the shots regarding what happens to a game, but you represent EA's decisions.
