- @Shinobicap Unfortunately, yes.
@GraveledStoopid Ouch, that’s rough. Seems like it makes for some pretty toxic gameplay 😕
Any emotes that could be used in a rude or harmful way should be considered as harassment, at least if you find it harassing (such as "Nice Try!") 😉!
Maybe there can be an option to mute emojis for the lobby or an individual player. They'd be emoting away but unknown to them you are just enjoying the game unaffected.
Popcap can also track how often a player uses emojis and is individually muted. These stats can be used for temporary emoji prison where you can't emote for e.g. 1 week. Maybe too far but the point is there should be solutions to this, it annoys enough people.
@ShinobicapI love when people taunt-emote and end up getting killed. Karma baby 🙂 I myself only emote players who are idling in ops and arnt helping. Had a hard elite boss round yesterday, me and my friend, a rookie player and a idling super brainz, I was quite annoyed with the last guy.
It’s always funny when someone’s fishing for emotes and they die to a stray ZPG or bean bomb or something. I don’t know why, but a ton of high rank players love to just spam “poop” and “terrible!” on the boast podium, which is really annoying. I’m also a high rank player so whenever I get on the boast podium I always try to say “Nice!” And “Not too shabby!” so that i’m not being condescending towards other players, because I know how toxic and annoying that gets. Some people have nothing better to do than bully kids on this game and make fun of them, which is just sad for them.
I can't roll my eyes hard enough at the idea somebody saying "salty" or showing a poop emoji could be considered harassment.
Seriously: toughen up, crybabies.- @themightylayman Believe it or not, children play this game! And little kids are very impressionable and very sensitive! It’s not the fact that the teens and adults who play this game are going to bed at night with it in the back of their mind, it’s the fact that there are children who are being harassed as well, and that some of those children will go on to take up a mentality that it’s alright if they’re encouraged to do so.
“Toughen up, crybabies.” Go find another forum somewhere else if you’re going to bring this type of unhelpful negativity. @themightylayman Wow dude you get enjoyment of bullying little kids online, you must a pure gem irl. That's the thing about the internet though, isn't it?
