right earlier today i had installed pvz battle for neighborville to my external HDD start to crash the console so i was surgested to move it off the external to the internal which i did and for a little the game worked fine was enjoying it. but now everytime i try to load the game it crashes the xbox so back to square one i have already cleared mac address tried a hard reset as well as the moving it from the 2 drives please fix this

the xbox is wel vetilate in an open area nothing near it on its own stand the xbox shuts down and when loaded comes up with that it was shut down to protect form over heating but it is only with pvz i had the game running a little since this weather its different now idk

Hey, were there any error messages to go with the crash? Were your fans loud/any sign of overheating?Does changing ventilation help with stability for you? https://support.xbox.com/en-IE/xbox-one/console/ventilation

@ItsDarkAwaken No it just deletes local save. When you load after it will still make fan heat 🔥 but it will redo week 5 update and pull progress save from cloud. If it gets past 89 and goes to title it should start if it hangs at 89 it will crash again. Hopefully works for you. Let me know, I've been working on this for weeks now.

@ItsDarkAwaken Make sure to read when selecting delete save file there are two choices only delete system save not all.

@EA_David Hello David, once game loads to title the fans start to rev up A little, if you hit the A button to log in or let it sit and run water sprinkler and zombie battle animation fan cranks up so fast. Then Xbox x shuts completely down due to built in overheat fail safe, upon restart you get message that Xbox had to shut down due to overheating.

@ItsDarkAwaken Hey Dark I have found going to manage game under your tag and delete console pvz save file (not all or you lose everything ) works to play but I have to do each time I close game and play. So not real fix but may help to play co-op again.

@ItsDarkAwaken Well got home and my and my kids profiles shut down the X with overheat again so it didn't work for long. Wish EA would figure this out already. Almost all EA games this gen have launched horrible.

I have a similar issue, I can't get the game to load no matter what I do.
using XBOX ONE S. Been trying to play since early September.
