Looked like yet another post that just overblow the current balance problem. But in the end it look like a very odd post that just ask buff for everything, even the dominant zombie class.
Kernel corn is at a fine place and probably one of the best plant class right now. If you try to use him like foot soldier as a "camp rooftop and snipe people in long range" That not gonna work as he lack the accuracy and range to fight at longer range. Corn want his fight to be up close and personal, and he have the tool for that with his high damaging gun, solid hp and whole lots of damaging abilities.
He do have a bad match-up against imp,but he seriously can wreck a Z-mech easily to counter-balance that. Butter barrage is fine too, damage isn't that bad and it can be used as a area denial tool.
Electro citron need a buff for his uncharged shot ye. Otherwise yeah,Citron in general is fine. Could use some tiny buff but that it.
Rose isn't that bad right now, with the exception of frost rose. Homing still exist but isn't a aimbot anymore. And the health nerf can be justified by the fact that she's rather dodgy. She do need a damage buff though.
Peashooter is fine. One of the most balanced char imo. Agent pea should only get his health buff if his damage get nerfed. Electro pea have bunch of not obvious thing that make him better then most people think, like a faster movement speed and a excellent arc + the explosion in mid-air gimmick which I will talk about it later. Rock pea already have a better splash damage + radius to justify his ammo count as well as pea Gatling which combine VERY well with his increased health.
Chomper is overall way better when he was in GW1. Idk how can anyone fail to play him in the second game if they managed to in the first (expect in herbal assault), but yeah he didn't needed the goop nerf.
Cactus...Is gonna get a buff next patch last time I heard so heh.
Weird change for imp. He need the health nerf, but don't need impkata to be buffed/changed that much to compensate.
Superbrain don't need buff right now. His punches are already strong enough to get the job done and Super ultra ball is fine due to his fast cooldown. But agree for electro brain nerf
You're seriously the first one to ask for a damage buff for deadboard lol. That just a no-no. You say that snarkbite is the only good sniper, but he's actually more OP when anything and is actually getting a nerf.
Not much more to say about the rest of the zombie class.
"Armored" variant are fine,no need to streamline then at all, keep them variant specific.
Full-auto ice variant could make freeze faster but are otherwise fine.
Don't care about upgrade
Now let's finally talk about the mid-air-explosion variant. They're more mid-range for most of them due to the slow projectile speed and limit of one projectile out like you said. But they're really good at that, a 35-30 damage splash or a 20 damage splash with a 15-5-2 arc with a big radius mean it can do alots against group, but also make them good enough to fight for 1v1. Your suggestion for them is nice, but I doubt that in console there is any button in which you can just put a explosion trigger.
And finally...Yeah parrot need a nerf.
Also agree with the pot/bot buff @agentevil007 talked about and for @the_jeremy823 I'm actually at the belief that sunflower is at a fine place right and don't need a buff neither. But I'm still happy that she got one anyway.

I disagree that Agent pea needs a damage nerf since damage is fine as it is. AP has seen two nerfs since GW1. The first was in GW1 when health was diminished from 125 to 100, and the second nerf was in GW2 when his total ammo capacity was dropped from 15 to 14. Given the new classes, it's not unreasonable to remove both these nerfs for AP.

I think you're exagerating a little bit, anyway i mostly agree with Boolerex for the most of think he said.
I just give you my suggest for some class i already mastered most of the variants.Imp. Imp need health to be 50 again. Anyway buffing Impkata damage will mess the game again, so my suggest is just to give this move some utility rather than damage, i suggested something in my topic.. like, when you get a kill you gain a little buff bonus.. decent at least
PeaShooter. I nearly mastered with all his variants besides Commando at elite, and i have to say the only one underpowered is Commando, and Fire one with no really unique pick potential, if i want harass potential i pick toxic or electro, the fire blast radius is too little to abuse it for harassing people behind walls, and the direct damage is pretty low, fire is useful though but need time to stack, so even for close combat fights i prefer Regular PeaShooter or Electro.
The only little slighly adjust they could get: Agent Pea less screen shaking so people can actually take more headshots if they're accurate, and Electro Pea slighly projectile speed after the bullet reaches 15-20 metres. Besides that PeaShooter is one of my favorite class together with Citron. Easy to use, rewarding when mastered and pretty strong and balanced.Kernel Corn is fine for the most, yes, he has bad bullet dispersion, accuracy and damage drop-off, so you can't snipe, that's why they give him 25health more. He's bad character? No. Just very hard to play, The most reason people find him besides BBQ very struggling to play is maybe the actual meta rather than the character itself. I could be wrong, we will see it next patch anyway.
For the Cactus, i ddnt play him a lot because i find him pretty useless to be honest... what i think?
Cactus isn't properly garbage, all his variations besides Camo are fine for the most, Cactus problem is kit itself. All his kit rely on camping only and is very less versatile for many reasons, the first reason is herbaul assault, and the second reason is the new game map design. Mines and Wallnut should have some replacement ability for when you want to play in a different way.
