I want it, and I don't. I'd like to support the game by buying it for the switch, but I know it won't help reverse the fact that this game is abandonware and it's a last-ditch effort to make some money on this game. It pains me to say it, but that's the truth. I really am heart broken for this game though and I wish they would reconsider supporting it. I've always wanted a PvZ game on the switch, just not this way..

Perhaps the game actually was leaked to come to the Nintendo Switch before they decided to stop making content updates to the game. I feel like that was possible, but still hopefully them deciding to give a slightly altered version of the game to the Switch will hopefully boost popularity. I probably will not get as I (still) have not bought a Switch, but hopefully it performs well enough and it benefits the game and its popularity.
- benn1nat0r5 years agoSeasoned Ace@Shadowphinx101 As you said, the shooters are seemingly gone, as Motive Vancouver is now "Full Circle" (apparently?) and working on Skate, while having removed all mention of PvZ on the site.
The trailer looks fine, in my opinion. The game even has Switch exclusive features, so I'm feeling the itch to buy it. Motion controls sound fun to try for a few hours, but ultimately it's nothing I need immediately, so I'll probably wait until its on sale.- Iron_Guard85 years agoLegend
I honestly don't know how to react to this news. On one hand, I want the PvZ shooters to sell more and get more exposure to more players so we get a new shooter in future. On the other, selling a game on a new platform several months after cutting new content from the original platforms feels odd.
I don't own a Switch and am still slowly leveling up in BfN on PC, so no plans on getting this version. I am very curious to see how well it does though.
