I've bought several coin packs (close to $100 worth) for my kid on the PS4 version of PVZ GW2 back in late March 2019. None of the coin packs I purchased, either in game or thru PSN, gave me the coins. After contacting customer service, they expedited my claim over to the devs. It's been well over three months. Does it typically take this long to get the coins I purchased for my son or is this just absolute rubbish customer service on their end? On a different note, I had no problem getting the DLC I purchased for the game but for whatever reason, I can't buy (and receive) any of the coin packs.

Relief!Okay, EA Customer Service finally felt sorry for me, I guess. Here's what has happened (screenshot attached for reference):1.) Unprompted by EA, I uploaded the transcript of the PlayStation Customer Service chat where they told me they wouldn't refund my money. When you chat with PS CS, there is an option to save the transcript. Save often, because as I indicated in a previous post, the PS supervisor I was chatting with abruptly closed the chat on me.2.) Unprompted by EA, I uploaded screenshots of the Coin Packs that were listed under my "Services List". This section can be found on the PS4 under Settings -> Account Management -> Account Information -> Services List. Under Services List, you should see your PS4 games, including Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare 2. When you click on it, you'll see all the content you've purchased for the game. I have one entry each for each TYPE of coin pack I bought: Epic and Modest. I DO NOT HAVE multiple Epic entries even though I've bought multiple Epic packs - multiple purchases seem to be filed under one entry.When I clicked on the Epic Coin Pack entry, it showed I had 2,330,000 coins REMAINING. Obviously, they weren't used. There was another pack, Modest Coin Pack, that I don't even remember purchasing that had 120,000 coins REMAINING.3.) When I called EA Customer Service, the CS rep ("Level 1", if you will) reviewed the case and saw I had already been referred to a Tech Specialist ("Level 2") a couple of days ago. I mentioned the PS transcript and he reviewed it. After he reviewed it, I mentioned the Services List screenshots. He was seemingly unfamiliar with this bit of info and seemed surprised. He bumped my case up right after reviewing those screenshots to an EA Help Specialist ("Level 3"). He told me to expect an e-mail and not to worry.Just a few minutes later, I received an e-mail from the EA Help Specialist who said he credited my account with four (4) packs of coins which would be available the next time I signed into the game. My son and I signed in and, sure enough, there were four (4) coin packs in the sticker vending machine.I don't recall how many coins we had before we opened the packs (perhaps 200,000 or so), but I ended up with 1.9 million coins plus. That's not as many as what the Services List says I had remaining, but at this point I'm fine with it. Rux amazingly offered the last piece of the Disco Chomper again this go-around, and we bought it. We now have everything but the Unicorn Chomper. Hope this works for you all.

Thank you for this post, I'm having the same problem. The info on going to the Services List section, and looking up the REMAINING coins, that was a huge help in figuring out what's going on. I'm going to have to call them I guess. Thanks for posting!

@CAJONES777 Hi, 3 months doesn't sound right. I can see the case is still flagged as "waiting on Studio", and you've rightfully reached out for more info. I can't make any promises as I can't directly investigate such things, but we'll see what we can do.

I've purchased three $19.99 coin packs in the last four months. On 3/31/19, I purchased a pack and I did not receive the coins. I called PS customer service the next day and they refunded me the money.On 4/23/19, I purchased a pack thinking surely the problem wouldn't repeat, but it did. On 7/20/19, I purchased yet another pack and didn't get the coins. Since it's Sunday, there's no one to speak with at PS and the chat function just sends me into a help file. Gee, thanks...Desperate to get the last sticker of the Disco Chomper that Rux is selling me right now, I downloaded the ONLY add-on pack that I don't own (the one that gives you Party Imp and Party Citron?), even though I have those characters so I could get a load of coin stickers. You guessed it: the darn thing didn't load.Someone please help my son and me. This is my favorite game, but this stinks.I really don't want a refund at this point; I want the coins!!

I've essentially had the same experience. I bought the packs mainly because they were offering the bonus coins. I just figured it would be a quick fix but here I am almost 4 months later and still waiting. I will add though that after posting my previous comment, I did receive the $600k+ coins from one of the $19.99 coin bundles I purchased. They did not add the bonus coins I was supposed to get though.Now if I could get the rest of the coins I purchased, which should be around $2.5 million or so, then I'll be good. I just don't understand why it would take this long to get remedied. I hope you have better luck. My son and I love the game and are looking forward to the next one but this has definitely left a sour taste in my mouth with any game that has microtransactions in it.

I tried EA support, but their chat function wasn’t working for me last night. I hope to make it home in time to try again this afternoon.

@CAJONES777 Oh, hey, I was under the impression that this was resolved, after your post, this was looked at again. If you can bump your support ticket to clarify what's missing that should help things to move along.

@Buck_Eastwood Hey, were you able to reach out to support? They should be able to look into this sort of thing. If you can grab images of your receipts that should help too.
