Cactus character is glitched (unable to level up)

My Cactus character is broken, it cannot level up. The only skill I have available is the "Potato mine" and the only challenge available is to deploy five Wall-nut shields. I've tried across every ga...

@xcrimsonlegendx Thanks for the extra detail..

 @AWMaxSterlingYou mention losing coins, did they come back eventually or were they lost for good?

@eadavid, the coins did appear to come back after the servers came back online. Whether the amount was correct or not is another matter and I don't know the answer to that. I did play a game just before the server issues and was disconnected from the server before the game ended.
