@Cookeg Ok I am an idiot. When I set it to a static IP and plugged directly into a my modem it wouldn't get an IP address and I didn't realize this when I continued testing different solutions. I removed the management from my wifi router (Gryphon) and I was able to get into the game so that seemed to be the issue. For some reason the router wouldn't let it get the in-game update from the EA servers while being managed from the router. Hope this helps someone else in getting the game to work. Strange this has not happened before...
