Could first try re-installing origin.

Somebody marked this as a solution in another thread... not exactly sure which one fixed it for them.

Have you tried a Clean Boot?

I'm thinking something is running and blocking it.

Another thought was chaning yoru DNS to 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 (google dns) (right click adapter, properties, TCP/IP v4, properties)
You can clear your dns cache by opening CMD as admin, type: ipconfig /flushdns

Googling I seen several people said they restored their router to factory settings and it fixed it.
