Nobody talking about the OP all-star here? Wow I’m amazed. The dude isn’t defensive anymore but an overpowered rambo on brainz!

I haven't posted on this yet as I want more play time before I can judge but from what I've seen, you're correct.
My initial impressions is that All-Star, Scientist, Electric Slide, and Space Station are too good. Rose may be as well, but Sunflower feels too weak (maybe because Scientist is too good). There may be others that need to go up or down but this is what I've seen since the patch. Damage dropoff for certain classes may need to be looked at too.
And please note, I'm not saying my list is absolute or perfect, my data sample is too small, but this is what I've seen so far.
- 6 years ago@Iron_Guard8 Yeah I agree, but I also haven't played all that much. The plant side feels really terrible right now. Rose and acorn are pretty good, but everyone else feels underwhelming compared to the zombies. Most of the time when I'm getting steam rolled, I'm on the plants team. I dont know, maybe its just me, but I find plants quite miserable to play... just much more frustrating for whatever reason. And yeah sunflower definitely needs something... I don't really think the answer is just increasing her primary damage though, she definitely needs... something more than that. Maybe a new ability? It's just absolutely not fair how weak she is compared to the scientist, and this has been an issue even before launch, its getting really frustrating.

Allstar primary could come down a bit, doing 8-10 now probably should be 7-9 or 7-8 his tackle delay should be shorter.
As for rest of the ttk update I've seen groups electric slide, groups of space cadet, groups of allstar, as I posted in another thread, team based pvp with variety of different characters needs team composition, anyone who has played previous garden warfare, overwatch, team fortress 2 etc would know that.
Good team composition specially after ttk and team work will always win the day over a team all using what they think is the op character of the month.
Seen it several times just in last 2 days.
Also sunflower think she needs a slight buff to her attack speed now, they buffed damage but her projectiles are so slow.
- 6 years ago@brady3176 Yup. But Peashooter is also quite good now, 34 damage per shot. Night Cap is decent too.

I love this game so much! I'm very grateful that the devs are willing to update regularly and consistently to balance the game. Only one thing confuses me- I saw that nighcap's damage was increased, but I feel like nightcap is already much too powerful as a character. Although- I'm not sure what they did to her in the November patch. Did they nerf her too much and were fixing that?

Loke I said I never played with the dude in this installment, so I had no abilities. His main weapon shreds ppl like a horde of zombies shreds 6 humans all defending themselves with their hands (I should stop with the zombie analogies XD). So for that reason I hardly even use his abilities. But even without it, cropping those plants is an easy task. And to be extra clear, I have aim assist off. When I’m on the plant team and get killed by him, I can just feel who have aim assist on...
in another thread I talked about how sunflower was one of my mains... now I can’t do anything with her. Even 1v1 with most zombies I lose whereas at first I could 1v2 most zombies. So yea, her buffs weren’t worthwhile, at least for me. The additional heal is good, but when you heal and someone or 2 zombies start shooting at you, you know you won’t get past 36hp healed before you’re in the ground again...
@PineapplePiano have you played since the beginning? At first NC was ‘too powerful’ (mostly because ppl couldn’t handle her and complained) so they nerfed her greatly. Almost everything about her was nerfed. Now they upgraded her primary to 17.5 or something from the 10/12 it was. So now at least she feels competitive again. It’s good she got buffed again but I feel ppl will start complaining about her again... hopefully they won’t tho...

@Koochi-Q Yeah I have but I haven't really been paying attention to the patches until now. Sorry about that misunderstanding

Just my opinion but i think nc's fung fury still needs a nerf. It's suppose to be a finisher but it still 1 hits allot of the zombies.
- 6 years ago@undead_dra60 80s rocket ride is kinda like fung fu. the difference is he doesn't have to go right up to enemies to use it and has double nightcaps hp. ha can be shot while using rocket ride but people usually run from it now. rocket ride does massive damage. easily more than fun fu dmg
