First,goalie star isn't nowhere near bad without overheat upgrade,but he do get one of the longest shooting weapon in the game once he do get it.
Second...Plant team don't need a particular class to be really strong for them to be "good". that just bad balance.
If he need to stay OP for plant team to be able deal with those class you cited earlier,isn't it more a problem with those class in general?
In top of that,only Basic and ice citron that are the one that are too strong right now. So it not even a problem with the class in general, electro citron is fine, party citron is still meh and I guess both iron and toxic citron are also fine. If citron in a whole was really necessary for the plant team,why only two of his variant are the only one dominant enough to fill that?
The game is at his most balanced state right now. But currently,citron is the biggest problem when it come to the current balance for simply being too strong. Zombie team have his problem too, Imp in general with his now more common Z-mech, Pirate parrot, They're simply not a big of a problem as they appear because citron just counter both of them right now.
Overall though,citron and ice citron do need nerf, basic need his damage change reverted while both Basic and ice citron need his overheat upgrade to be less strong. That it. The rest if the buff citron got were overall fine. Zombie team also need a nerf to imp so that he don't end up dominant again (nerfing gravity grenade and possibly Z-mech should be the way to go,the hitbox change migrated the "too much survivability" problem he got) As well as parrot (give it the same health as garlic drone,make his airstrike take a bit longer to explode).
Also cus it still a citron topic,plz,give citron the ability to activate his shield in mid-air. Idk why you can't considering you can jump with it anyway.
