Citron needs powering up
This character has the weakest amount of damage, and moves like a snail! If not giving him more damage per hit, then at least consider speeding up his movement speed or how fast his abillities respond...
That everyone said, his gun is actually not that bad if you remember that he have a splash, the damage number are just a tad bugged making him seem like he do less damage when intended.
And of course for general movement, you have citron ball.
Wait? What? Does Citron have more damage than displayed?
Btw no. Citron is fine the way it is, is my favorite character, just dont play him in 1vs1 scenario, group with others, protect sunflowers and use your empeach whenever you feel necessary.
TBH is the ONLY op character plant have in my opinion...
Doesnt need any buff.
I repeat, he's not mean to 1vs1 or 1vs2 anyone, but he has tons of utility.
Tank (200hp + shield) , map pressure, CC, decent damage.
Play like a teamplayer, he's kinda a support, tanking is way to support your team, you shouldn't 1vs1 anyone unless you managed well the match up
"You know, Citron can do a ton of damage. For every hit, you deal an additional 5 points of damage over any range and you can deal 5 points of splash damage. " Can someone explain me? He do more 5 damage than reported?
I guess we all have different play styles and preferences. Like I said I hate the charging mechanic, I hate plasma pea, ice and fire rose, I hate that electro citron too.
I just wanted to see some gameplay of someone else playing it, because I never plan to play it.
It doesnt make sense. Statistically, namely the characters with charge stronger than characters with single or automatic mechanism. But also it's more difficult to use. However, it is teachable. Watching as played by another player, you didnt learn anything. And if dont wanna learn and dont try by yourself -- it's just pointless. No offense 🙂
@xXFrozenChromeXx, that moment when I was faced against 2 Zoologists and a Chemist with my Stock Citron - that glorious feeling when I managed to vanquish the three of them with around 20 hp left. Of course, I had probably a good two - three second head start of attacking before they started to attack.
I too feel that he is a highly overlooked, powerful plant that can destroy the common zombies that you find in multiplayer that have 100 hp or less with ease. I often stay nearby the team as the fear of being in an unfavored match is probable due to these close-quarter maps, but stray when my team is either getting 'spawn-camped' or when an objective, such as a Suburbination spot, needs to be capped.
Citron is fine. in fact, he's one of the best all around plants. Plant team as a whole needs a slight boost, but citron should probably be left alone. I absolutely hated him when I first started leveling him as he seemed slow and weak. Now I can consistently finish near the top of the plants side with him. I still can't keep up with the zombie kill rate, especially with all of the team switchers imbalancing the sides, but he's one of the better plants for sure. He can outright win against a lot of zombies 1v1, but against the troublesome ones just utilize EMPeach then blast them down. It works pretty consistently.
To keep it simple, Citron can deal 5 points of splash damage. If you manage to land a direct critical hit up close, you do 6 points of damage AND 5 additinal points of damage. The damage counter is bugged because these two numbers are separated, but it only applies to the default and Party Citron. The Ice, Power and Iron Citron don't deal additinal damage. I hope this answers your question
