@Iron_Guard8I hate the shotgun change in bfn.
It was already a get out of my face weapon in 2 but with the new shotgun system in bfn you have to practically shove it down the enemy's throat to be effective and than it still does less damage and is unable to effect multiple enemies unlike the gw2 shotgun, wth popcap? Its practically worthless.
His design, much like the plants in bfn just seems less detailed than his gw2 iteration revert him back.
Barrel blast is wierd. They removed the armor and made chomper eat deadbeard inside as well as making it destroyable but deadbeard himself is much weaker so I'm just scratching my head at the decision. Upgrades do make it better but there's no reason for it to start off unbeliavably underpowered in bfn. Overall a very strange and rather bad change for the character.
Would love more parrot alt abilities and must say I prefered the old airstrike system that functioned much like deadbeard's sniping itself: faster but weaker.
Gotta disagree with you and say I prefer cannon rodeo as it differentiates itself from the other turret modes well enough and anchors away is really janky and every deadbeard in 2 just used barrel blast or parrots to get higher so it felt kinda pointless much like the propeller for cactus.
Captain partyman is underpowered and they should've buffed him.
I would like to see more variants like captain squak and primaries more like his flem thrower.
Cannon is overrated and flameface is underrated.
I feel like the other gw2 characters will be much more interesting to discuss, including Torchwood and hovergoat I assume.
We've always disagreed on the turret modes and that's cool. Personally, I just don't like surrendering the initiative and mobility for those modes. Don't hate them, and Gatling Pea is my favorite one, but I don't use them all that often. I didn't get that GW1 achievement for 10 players in a single match with Gatling Pea until 2018!
- @Iron_Guard8 Never got that achievement for a while either as you're asking to be zpged in gw1 if you do it.
I like the rodeo beacuse it feels more unique than engineer's gatling pea 2.0 and it deals splash rather than high fire rates.@stukapooka my least favorite is big bolt blaster; partly from losing the drones, and partly from its hit box issues. It's really obnoxious to deal with as a plant due how it makes it very difficult to hit the engineer on it.
