Community Challenge is a complete failure!

the prizes are terrible. Also popcap assumes we can do things like 25 million multiplayer vanquishes and we only got 18 million. yellow chest with 25k coins is nothing, blue chest with a 35k pack is terrible, and red chest prize if you already have the prize is 50k coins. They can keep the BS prizes if they want but they should reward contribution more like if you did 100 infinity mode waves you should get 50k coins and if you do like 300 waves of infinity mode you get a red chest prize. 

I sorry that your disappointed for getting something for free for doing something you already do for fun, it must be tough.

nice try you are not getting unicorn chomper via a stupid 4 day challenge in which you could do nothing but still get top reward 

meaning the entire playerbase will be getting unicorn chomper

people spent months grinding GW1 for unicorn chomper

but yea the rewards are worthless and a joke 

all they need to do is place rewards that will actually make you play 

all those kids playing are greedy just place the right reward and top chest will be reached each time 

they cant really give out legendary piece with each challenge it will make it too easy to get

but they could do it like a few more times

top reward should have multiple items in it

and overall if the community manages to unlock top reward the overall coin earned should be around 300k from all chests together  

together with a substantial number of customization items not a random reskin of a zany pack but a unique community challenge pack containing nothing but customization items 

and if the player already has them he gets a coin card for each item he already has 

but popcap are lazy and greedy they find it hard to give out coins even if you bought the game for $40-60 already 

I already have fun playing the game, the "community challenge" is just icing on the cake.  The rewards are literally free stuff for playing an already great game.  (this is my humble opinion).  I never go out of my way to do a community challenge if I don't want to.  Case in point, I hate infinity mode, so I did 2 dounds of it and just quit.  I just don't enjoy that part of the game.  My advice is, if you like the event then contribute, if you think the event isn't fun then don't play that event and just play how you normally would.  The game is still fun either way.

For hardcore players the Community Challenge rewards might seem to be a joke, I personally have around 420 hours invested in the game, all the characters unlocked and already have the majority of the accessories so a reward of coins or a sticker pack isn't all that exciting for me and honestly I'm not terribly concerned with getting all the accessories. I hardly think that players with as much time as me, or more, are the primary focus of the Community Challenge prize chests.

i think that most of the community consists of more average or casual players and for them a chunk of coins or a sticker pack might be appreciated. Heck, even at the point wher I am in the game I still at least make the minimum requirements for challenges I don't care for just to be in on the prize chests, even if I don't really need them.

I don't think giving away full Legendary characters is the way to garner interest and just handing them out to people who just squeaked into the Challenge with the minimum requirement would probably only alienate players like me who worked like hell to actually earn them.

View the Community Challenge for what it is- a challenge to hit a goal just to see if it can be done. If the challenge interests you then participate and if it doesn't then just play the game- chances are with the way the challenges are structured in some of them you'll probably wind up participating even if you aren't specifically going for it.

A legendary character for the community challenge ?   Seriously?   We only missed the infinity time challenge by a little bit.  Im fine with more coins but its ridiculous to expect a legendary character. in my opinion.  And the Unicorn chomper too!?!?!?   Go back to GW1 and put in the time if you want that character otherwise forget about it.  The prizes are fine, though i like the more coins idea and scrap the blue sticker pack ,  and the red chest SHOULD be hard to get... not automatic.  Hopefully after these first few challenges they get a better idea about what reasonable target numbers are .... the infinity time goal for the red chest was perfectly reasonable.

Community challange should get a reward improvement, but not too high, like 30k reward for first prize, 70k for second and like 150 for third

This also needs to ask players more coperation, not just 20 waves in infinite mode but 50..

Other thing they can improve is doing multi task not just 1 thing the whole challange wihch is boring like some ppl say and i totally agree

Or they could make challange of stars, with a total of 10,000 stars as example the comunity get the final prize, and ppl can deposit the number of stars they want 5,10,20,50,100,200 as many times as you want, and also set a minimum stars given to get the chests like 30

The fire challenge really screwed multiplayer in a bad way effecting people who don't care about the community challenge. Adding contribution prizes makes it worth helping the community. Its not fair for someone to contribute like 1000 vanquishes and get the same prize as someone who only got 25.

Thats true, they could add 3 requeriments for each chest, the first one could be representative like in a challlange of infinite mode just 10 waves, 30+- for the second and like 50 or more for the third, if each chest gets harder to achieve also should your work to get them

This is actually a pretty fair idea.  I like the scaling progression requirements on these quests as long as they are clearly communicated at the start.

Also if they do another infinity mode community challenge I probably won't participate.
