All i can say is that the people who are complaining about him more than likely barely use him, only use him at long range, or haven't used him enough past his 2 reload and damage upgrades. I can see why the devs are nerfing him especially when you stack him with his double reload upgrades. about two direct hits with his short reloads at close range can take down most of the plant characters aside from corn, citron and most of the chomper variants.
Honestly the main problem I have with the tank commander nerf is that it probably just gonna make his damage upgrade mandatory without really fixing anything.
And make him outclassed by scuba soldier too.
@Boolerex post update tank commander was better than scuba, but only in a skilled player hand.
People get baited by the two ammo on the scuba without thinking that Tank Commander with two reload upgrades, reload his weapon so fast (0.5seconds) to make almost in pair with scuba rate of fire (0.33 seconds after the first hit) , meanwhile him have to reload his weapon for 1.5 seconds after two shots.
