Guys, don't overreact. I hate to be the guy that tells the truth, apart from the 75k pack, no pack guarantees you a sticker piece. Look at the formulation of the Wondrous Pack of Greatness. And the new characters are only super rare, so those guys won't be absurdly hard to get. (Not my account btw)
Maybe this was mentioned already and I missed it, but will the new packs still give you a chance to get a Legendary piece as well? Or will it only give access to the new items and new characters?

50,000? geez. Good thing i stopped trying to get legendary characters this week and have been saving my coins. got about 600,000 saved up right now.

I would hope it will give all the current legendary pieces considering that it's the most expensive pack aside from the character packs

Thanks for the clarification. That's really too bad, but I'm not surprised at this point. The collecting aspect of the game seems to be designed where the main goal is to draw it out as long as possible.
Well they just announced on their stream that they are reducing the pack to 40,000 coins and you can now get the current legendary items from the pack. It also gives the highest chance on getting a legendary now. All the more reason i'm glad i've been saving up for it
Dont get your hopes up though, if aquiring Legendaries is still random then chances are you will spend all your * and still only have some gold and silver hats and glasses from the new set along with a sh17 ton of bonk choy
I hear ya darth, i have 5 buddies who deleted the game after around level 1100 or so out of frustration. I told them about the new content coming but they have all just moved on from the game. I still enjoy it but the pressure to join them playing another game is real
I, for one, wish you luck and hope you get the pieces you need! I feel your pain as I've given up on the legendary characters as well. Millions of coins spent and nothing. And I just don't find the Infinity Mode fun enough to grind. At a good 30 - 40 minutes a pop, it's more like a part time job than a fun game mode (at least, for me).

Gary also said that because so many players were talking about legendaries and the difficulty in obtaining them, they have doubled the chances of getting legendary in the new packs. In the other packs that contain legendaries you have a 1 percent chance but in the new packs you have a 2 percent chance of getting a legendary...which means that the new packs do contain the legendary pieces but NOT the previous customization items. 🙂
I think the question is, why is the getting of legendaries random at all? In the first game, yes you had to complete a ton of challenges to unlock chatacters but all in all it felt fair. There is nothing fair about randomness and it does nothing but breed resentment. As it has done here.

If I had to guess I'd say it was for two reasons. One, they wanted to artificially extend the life of the collectable aspect of the game, Which they did, but forgot that it's supposed to be fun not frustrating. And two, they probably are hoping that people will use real money to buy the coin packs in the store.
It's too bad though as the game is still fun even when everything is unlocked. That's why people like me played the first game for such a long time even though I had unlocked everything.

@homerd0h THIS! It would be one thing to say you can buy the legendary and party characters for $5 or $10 each, which in itself would be bad, but many people would accept it. But with the random system they're using, you could literally buy $100 worth of packs and STILL come up with sh--!
Pay-to-win schemes were designed to take advantage of people who want everything, but don't want to spend hundred of hours acquiring them. But for those of us who do play this game that much, Popcap does nothing for themselves by punishing us this way, except to turn their fanbase against them!

Probably for the same raison almost everything else is random in sticker pack,the difference is that those are way moar rare.
Also making legendary sticker needing you to either pay for them with real money or pray to rng is worse then just pray to rng imo.

They should add a temie Easter egg in the game to activate it press left right left left right left right right on the d-pad and you would get a temmie ears cap for all characters and 25,000 coins. and there would be a voice clip SAYING "HOI IM TEMMIE" and then temmie village would start playing. HOW ABOUT IT EH?
I'm sorry but EA does not and never will own Undertale. Doing that would create copyright.
