Customization not appearing in game

Hello

In the customization screen (from start menu) I can change the appearance of my plants and zombies, but during the game they are not displaying ?

btw no more customization is displayed in game.

What can I do to have them again ?

    Yes, I was talking about the free characters.

    I'm probably wrong.

    If you play "Welcome Mat" or "Classic" modes.  Those do not allow you to use appearance changes or non-standard characters.

    Try playing Gardens vs Graveyards (regular).  I love this game mode, I think you will too.

    Yet before the Tactical Taco Pack the game displayed thoses customizations...

    Maybe it was a bug that was fixed...

    That DLC isn't even out for PC yet?  Just the free characters.

    I never seen it Classic or Welcome mode before and I've played since it was released on PC.

    I dunno man.
