Customization

I really, really like this game so far, but wouldn’t it be kinda cool if different costumes had different colors for weaponry, and special effects for each costume? It looks weird when a pink oak had a normal cannon. Also, for an example of particle effects, make it so that different costumes each have different projectile colors and effects, like the slushy scientist shooting blue slushy , and a slight sprinkle effect when he teleports, or citrons having a different color shield, or even all stars having different color shields! These upgrades would be really cool for the future! I hope popcap at least considers these new customization upgrades!

    @Ninja2Blade Unfortunately I think PopCap wants BfN relatively separate from the GW series. There are a few costumes that change the color of the weaponry; All-Star has a.purple skin, Foot Soldier has a prisoner costume, and Scientist has his Food Fight Sprinkles colors to name a few.

    I get the feeling we have been spoiled by earlier GW titles with their billions of customizations.

    Must have cost way more recourses than Popcap is willing to spend now on BfN.

    Popcap already has those upgrades in place....

    Beloved Vampire Flower can be achieved with upgrades (not the only character with this upgrade), Corn has piercing bullets that can make him like Mob Cob (name?  I’m referencing the GW2 Corn that could pierce multiple enemies and wore a gimp suit), Hot Rod abilities were added to the Chomper, Marine Biologist abilities added to Scientist, etc...

    It’s not IF they can implement them it’s WILL they....

    I would be all for this, if we didn’t experience the toxicity that came with GW2’s variants.

    ...as for the other ideas of Slushy Scientist, etc., I love those ideas.

    Side note: do I know you from GW2?  PS4?

    @spIash_damage To be honest I get your point. Ice soldiers always sniped from random hidden spots, same thing goes with plasma pea (At least in my servers)

    I’m referencing toxicity of rapid fire characters like Mystic Flower and Future Cactus and detonation characters like Captain Cannon and Electro Pea.

    Do you play on PS4 and main Space Cadet?  Your name is super familiar to me... maybe I saw you in Picnic? 🤔🤷🏼‍♂️

    @Ninja2Blade yeah it annoys me that lime citron has green peel shield shades but uses the orange peel shield. Lime citron also has orange lights.... why not green...
