Dear community managers, dear devs: Communicate Chomper

I agree... No communication for the average player!!! We are used to crappy communication anyways from the developers, so nothing new!!!

Did someone from the community team read this and has it been forwarded to the team?

I beg everyone who can report it to do so and let us know via reply.

I just answered another question from someone who was confused that Chomper is gone.

There needs to be in-game communication about this!

This would help a lot, even though there should of course be in-game communication about this.

I just want to add that It probably is very confusing and saddening to all of the younger players. Where has their "messed up pup" gone? If you take away their Chomper, you should tell them and not just say he ran away.

@benn1nat0r I know it’s frustrating but it’s not something they can answer.  Because there’s not anything they can do about it.  The only thing they will reply on is technical issues with in game purchases, install issues or other technical issues that will prevent you from playing the game.  Basically anything that prevents income to EA.  That’s just what it is.  Many people have spent years working on communication and left due to frustration.  PopCap really needs to respond but they don’t frequent here unless it’s on an update.  I agree with you a hundred percent, and certainly not trying to knock your post.  This is just more of a hobby forum that doesn’t get dynamic issues resolved.  It’s important to understand that if you are going to frequent here.  

@dwooten77I didn't make this post to get the issue resolved, though. I get your points. I just want a simple message to appear in-game explaining Chomper has temporarily been removed to fix a game breaking bug. They can do it for updates, so why not for this? A lot of people are confused by it.

Edit: And I think the community team could pin a message about this on top of the forums. I know they should be able to relax on the weekend, but maybe tomorrow. It would certainly help. Of course, many players still wouldn't see this. But it would actually help them. They way it is now the staff has to reply to every new bug report about this. If such a message were to be pinned, less reports would be made. Of course, we as community members try to help out.

@benn1nat0r I should of elaborated more.  They will not make any comment other than “I’ll pass it along”.  The communication between EA and PopCap is transparent.  The only place you will hear about any type of comments is on Twitter or possibly discord.  Since they’re not saying anything, be prepared for this take a while.  Don’t be offended by anything I say, it’s just the blunt truth.  I’ve been a member here for quite some time as well as behind the scenes.
