EA Staff (Retired)No RUX since Dec31. He is in his booth but as soon as you talk to him, he disappears and you get the notice that something went wrong. This started Jan 1st. They are really getting to me !!!!!!
As @smartGrammy821 says here, Rux is on the fritz and needs a reboot or something in GW2. A sizable chunk of the playerbase rely on him for particular items, and he's having 'issues with his suitcase' or something along those lines.
Unfortunately I heard about this news a couple of days ago. I am still hoping Rux will return without suitcase issues.
Good news, everyone. Rux will be returning to the Backyard Battleground to sell his wares by January 17th, 2022. I saw the following image on Reddit (posted by SuperMitsaYouTube) and I managed to find the Community Manager post on the PvZ Garden Warfare 2 forum. I honestly thought that they would leave Rux in a broken state considering that no one is working on the game anymore.

I love how everyone's questioning why they cant sinply add back modes into the mystery portal by arranging code.
I love the dedication people are showing towards gw2 after all this time.
