Plant Vs Zombies GW2 won't load!!

I just bought it for my son too, literally having the same issue

Im having the same problem with my son trying to get it to load

My son is devastated as he had been waiting to play this game for so long. He even used his own pocket money to pay for it. Hopefully they will resolve the issue.

i am pretty sure that the servers were overfilled at that time, try again

My son has been trying multiple times a day for 2 days and there hasn't been a change. Maybe the servers are still overloaded.

I hate too break it too yall but unfortunately your childrens accs may have been Corrupted due to rampant hackers through out the PC version of the game. They Corrupt your accounts save file of the game and its deep rooted within the cloud so you cannot reinstall or verify files to fix the issue. :\ sadly the only way is to hound EA support and pray they actually do something but the chance of that is unlikely and as of now if your affected by it you just cant play the game. ive been out of it for about a week now. 

The corruption causes players to get max leveled through out everything that has a level. basically too a degree way above the natural game limits and the anti-cheat being as crappy as it is will ping your account as a cheater and soft ban you via the black loading screen. And theres not much to be done as Support as mostly lied to me about fixes or just repeated words ive said out of my mouth. :( sorry guys you might have to break the bad news until this issue is resolved which at the games current state is not likely to be any time soon.

Yes I have heard there has been issues with PC and hacking. We're using PS5 though and we are able to reinstall - it plays the opening cut scene and then hangs on the loading screen (sometimes throwing an error)
