DirectX Error

Sometime before early November, I was the playing the game fine. After that I get an Direct X Error

--------------------------------------

DirectX Error

DeviceRemoveReason: DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_HUNG. DirectX function "dxDevice-> CreateTexture2D(&texDesc2d,desc.subResourceCount != 0 ? subresData : 0,&m_texture2d)" failed with DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_REMOVED ("The video card has been physically removed from the system, or a driver upgrade for the video card has occurred."). GPU: "NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060", Driver 44141. This error is usually caused by the graphics driver crashing; try installing the latest drivers.

I've tried to fix this by updating the driver, downloading previous drivers, opening origin and BFN from administrator, clearing the cache, and reinstalling the game. Nothing I've done worked.

  • @EngieEngy,

    Hmm, that's odd, you should.

Right click on Desktop - Nvidia Control Panel - Adjust desktop size and position - No scaling - perform scaling on : GPU

I play on PC as well with an Nvidia Card, and see this Option.
