Boss Hunts were great and indeed memorable, and as my favourite mode of all time, I eagerly anticipate being able to hopefully play them again! I found them so challenging to defeat, although I was nowhere as skilled at the game back then, so if they return, I'll have a much better chance at being able to beat them in all difficulties, especially now that I've had a lot of practice in Crazy Ops. I've actually watched plenty of YouTube videos of Boss Hunt gameplay, which makes me even more keen to play Boss Hunts. If I do get to play them again, I'll probably have even more fun than I used to and will create guides related to each Boss Hunt for other players.

I miss boss hunts as well. I have a few issues with them, especially on ccrraazzzy when someone messes up and we lose half an hour or more of work done, but overall I do love me some boss hunts! So many great memories of getting all the hats unlocked with my friend that I played with for years in GW2, he didn't stay in BfN long, but we played a ton of GW2.
I loved finding the trick to anchoring the champion Torchwood for the spooky squash as a scientist; you could use the mega heal ball and leave your circle, throw it to the other anchor player, and get back in if you moved fast enough, so the champion wouldn't despawn and you could heal the other anchor player. My friend and I beat it on crazy as scientists doing that for each other (we used the beams as they were super important for keeping the candy carrying player alive).
The rush of getting that massive damage buff against the yeti king, the panic as berserkers knocked you out of the shield against the sasquatch, and the last minute revives that saved the whole thing, so many great times among the occasional frustration. Brothers Gnomus always felt odd to me though, as it was far easier than the other 3. Hardest part with that one was making sure people didn't change the shape to the wrong one!
I mostly liked the elite bosses in BfN Ops, since they weren't so long, but ops in BfN are lackluster compared to GW and GW2 ops in the first place, and boss hunts are overall more enjoyable and left a long lasting impression, especially when you beat a boss on crazy after failing it several times!
