Do you need a paid account for the PC version of Garden Warfare like you do the Xbox version?
I would really like to know if this disadvantage exists on the PC version BEFORE I buy it, something I learned from buying the Xbox version!

Nope, the PC version doesn't require anything like Xbox Live or PSN to play.
You need an Origin account, but that's free and part of the purchasing process.
Well, you'd need an internet connection... so you'd need to pay your ISP.
Don't know why you'd have an issue with needing a LIVE account for the game when it's online only... and when you buy the Xbox, you know that you need to have LIVE in order to play online.
