Or is it just me? I know some people are annoyed by overly animated characters but i love them! They bounce around, sway from side to side, every emote looks fantastic. I used to praise WoW back in the day for having killer animations lol, We've come a long way. I mean i was just sitting here in the main title screen watching the back of the Jersey on the All Star flap around as he punted an imp. Not to mention the textures.I couldn't figure out why the first GW and the sequels reminded me of my childhood so much and then it clicked... it's kind of like a 90's cartoon or comic book, only hyper animated and gorgeous. GW and BfN appeal to me because they are quite cartoony. I have played grittier, more realistic shooters but they're usually so boring with that realistic aesthetic that I don't play them long.It doesn't work for me in every game though, WoW has always looked horrendous to me (part of why I'm not playing 'classic'), City of Heroes had a look more akin to comic books and amazing animations though.The current Halloween decorations are brilliant too.

I ran an Op last night and it was definitely better than it was, but it still needs work. I don't mind 5 waves as 10 got a bit tedious, and this patch made it less hide and seek than it was at first, so it doesn't take as long to complete and less just running around which made the Ops drag. Also, bring back evacuations! I loved the scrambling to escape at the end of each Op.

Ops are better than before,but i feel still need some tweaks, maybe another boss round or something idk.

I won’t say I love their style of design (feels too childish to me) but the attention to detail and overall job on graphics is amazing.
Playing BfN, I often am “wowed” by scenery or certain graphic themes (entering canyons in Mount Steep, watching butterflies in Weirding Woods, the Halloween theme that was revealed last night).
Absolutely LOVE the graphics even though they’re “too animated/cartoony” for me.

I played the Unreal series until they went PC only and think that game was the best shooter in history.
Graphics, no balance issues, etc.... love the Epic engine and wish the PvZ environment was slightly more in tune with this type of design.
Still love PvZ... it’s just a step down from a highly-competitive design (we lose opponents, crosshairs, etc, in PvZ).

Unreal is fantastic. I recently played through it again and the not quite as good expansion but it was stylized and very alien which really helped. It was gorgeous for the day.
I'm talking single player campaign in the original game here, it was huge and the alien settings were amazing. Then I got Unreal 2 and it was even better looking, but as a game...it was terrible.

Sorry to hear that you're having a miserable PVE experience. You would think that would be a priority for the developers to fix. Hope your experience improves soon.

Never played the tournament stuff. Actually I did once at a LAN party but at that time I was focused on BF:1942 which I really liked as I love WW2 games and it was a great time.
