DOTW: Feb 13-19

Hello hello hello, to each of you that look at these decks each week. And this week is a deja vu. Both sides are the same as last week, so I made a couple new decks staying away from the themes of previous.

Green Shadow is a surprise to me how strong the deck is, as I was a little concerned about speed and possibly getting overwhelmed, but don't stress over that, it happens to everyone. And if someone tells you differently, they are lying. And it turned out to be for the better of the deck because after being trampled, I changed a couple cards and things went alot smoother. Birds of paradise aren't necessary, so if you don't have then don't worry, try mayflower or another card draw plant, while the supertrick at start of turn is pretty cool, I have the birds there more for the dinoroars. And as far as enviros, you could use planetofthegrapes instead of coffee grounds for more card draw if you want, and change a few plants in and out.
Mainly though, the Bog and rotobaga are kickass together and even with rotobaga having bunk health, the bog takes 2 attack off non-amphibious zombies which is a very helpful defense until you get a bit setup and us a mutation buff. Same with Apotatosauras....obviously a good card but if you don't have that would be more of where planetofthegrapes and such would come into play

Immorticia I thought I would see how a mustache would be, and it is not bad, I think that I(or you) could make it better but as it stands, it's decent for sure

gentleman zombies are there for the gravestone mustache brains, the extra 2 might be able to teleport a KSZ , or whatever you may have available, thats the only reason, because like you said, there arent many tricks in this deck....but as Tuna pointed out, enviros are there too

  • im gonna try your green shadow deck. im only missing 4 of the cards,

    thanks for posting these.

  • as far as your imortiicia deck, i only have one duckstache card, is he worth crafting a couple more?

  • Why the Gentlemen Zombies? It doesn’t seem like you have enough tricks to justify them.

I’m not the world’s biggest fan of M. Monument, but seeing as this IS a mustache deck, and Monument is a natural target for Duckstashe (and/or anything played in a Frenzy lane... or Shieldcrusher Viking) + cheaper and more durable... I am, again, just curious. He seems more headache than he’s worth, here.

@gogogo I am personally loving what I’ve seen out of Duckstache so far. A single conjure is almost garunteed (because “deals damage” works as written on this card - he doesn’t have to touch your opponent) and he is great with things like frenzy or strikethrough (strikethrough can get you 2 or 3 conjures in a single combat, no matter the plant’s power level).

He may draw removal, but if he does he’s essentially still done his job (by trading with one of your opponents’ cards). I would say if you’re on the fence, lean toward “yes.”

Edit: think Kite Flyer, except he is is a 2/2 (potential to be 4/4) instead of 1/3. If you like Flyer, you probably like Duck.

I am an ultimate league player who got to legend using a variety of different decks but for deli levels towards the end of my run I was running Dacks using mustache synergy. I fell in love with Duckstache it is so worth running four if it’s in your budget to do so.

    good luck and have fun

Between the tricks and the environments that are all played in the trick phase and all the tricks and  environments that you will conjure you’re going to have plenty of opportunity to use the gentleman

Let me undrestand: you are already an ultimate league (the league just started 3 days ago...) how can it be possible?

There is no ultimate plant league insofar...so I suppose which again the game is unbalanced (mustache monument, trickster, valk)...

More fun for us the plant opponents 🙂
