Download update prompt

Downloaded and played on 1 xbox360 without problem, redownloaded on my other 360 and it keeps prompting me to download the update; which I have already downloaded, redownloaded etc.. It won't let me do anything on the game at all, just redownload the update, I even purchased the game again on a different profile and I got the same message with that. I have been through it with Xbox support and done all troubleshooting possible. They are out of ideas and so am I?!? Any one have any ideas? Thanks

    Have done plenty of times. And deleted every file and redownloaded, and rebooted etc etc etc.. It just keeps telling me there's an update available and do I want to download it. If I choose yes it shoots straight up to 100%, then does the same thing after rebooting. If I choose no I can't access anything on the game.
  • After deleting everything does it shoot to 100%? Have you tried clearing your cache? Ensured you have enough HDD space?

    Have you tried downloading the legends of the lawn DLC outside of the game?

    No, once deleted it takes around 30-60 minutes to download again, plenty of HDD space, cleared cache, removed and replaced hard drive, downloaded each individual update separately outside and inside of the game, including legends of the lawn. Both profiles work ok on the one 360, but neither will work on the problem console. Deleted and reinstated profiles. Tried with xbox community and xbox support and tried every trouble shooting possible...
  • You don't require every update to play, you only need Legends of the Lawn. I just deleted my GW content and when trying to re-download I initially got an error that it cannot download which resolved itself after trying the download from the store.

    Since it's only happening for your one console, I would assume it's an Xbox problem.

    Edit: You have Xbox Live gold on all the profiles correct?

    Yea, both profiles have gold. I assumed it was an xbox issue due to the one console working fine, but as xbox couldn't find a solution I thought I'd try EA.. I know all updates aren't needed, but we were just trying to rule out any issues or find any problems ourselves before trying online. It's just strange that both profiles work on the one console and neither work on the other, even when we purchased 2 copies of it; but every other game (digital or hard copy) work fine on it. So I'm not sure if it's a service issue, console issue or just something else! I guess we'll just keep trying.. Thanks for your help anyway 🙂
