You don't require every update to play, you only need Legends of the Lawn. I just deleted my GW content and when trying to re-download I initially got an error that it cannot download which resolved itself after trying the download from the store.
Since it's only happening for your one console, I would assume it's an Xbox problem.
You could try contacting Customer Support, but with it only happening for the one console, it may not even be a game issue: http://help.ea.com/

Yea, both profiles have gold. I assumed it was an xbox issue due to the one console working fine, but as xbox couldn't find a solution I thought I'd try EA.. I know all updates aren't needed, but we were just trying to rule out any issues or find any problems ourselves before trying online. It's just strange that both profiles work on the one console and neither work on the other, even when we purchased 2 copies of it; but every other game (digital or hard copy) work fine on it. So I'm not sure if it's a service issue, console issue or just something else! I guess we'll just keep trying.. Thanks for your help anyway 🙂
