[EA app] GW2 stops loading immediately after starting up.

Every time I start the game up, the game starts loading, but after about 5 seconds, it goes back to the EA desktop app. This started happening last week after I had attempted to mod the game which failed. Basically what happened was frosty mod would crash after trying to load gw2 into it (before the apply mods screen). I looked up how to fix this and someone said delete the file that pops up at the same time it crashes. I deleted the file level_coop_brainstreet. This didn't fix frosty mod, but that's not why I am here. After doing this, this problem now occurred where the game just wouldn't load now. I have tried repairing the game and reinstalling the game to no avail. If anyone knows a fix pls let me know. 

I have thought about reinstalling EA desktop completely, but I have other games installed which might get deleted, so I want that to be a last resort.

    Im having this exact same problem. I've already tried fully uninstalling the EA app and GW2 itself and it still happens every time I try to open the game.

    Whenever I try to join a multiplayer lobby or even join an event (where you earn rainbow stars) my game crashes without any warning or error messages. I can play single player without any issues. I have verified the integrity of the game files, and it shows 3 files failed to verify almost every time. Plus, I uninstalled and reinstalled the game and it did not fix the issue. Is there any way to resolve this so I can play multiplayer with my friends?

    I am trying to play Plants vs Zombies 2 Garden Warfare with my friend, but everytime I add him to join or vise versa the whole game crashes. i tried resetting the game and my computer and nothing.  Then I tried to play just myself but when I loaded into the game, it crashed. Now I can't even get the application to open. Any advice?

    I contacted EA support and they were no help.
