@ToastedSarnie I just made myself laugh writing this. There's soooo many individual nerf posts.
- 6 years ago@newbebop I think it's hilarious - your posts are like devious potato mines in dirt piles scattered across the maps!
- 6 years ago@Gowron248 Sorry, I'm more on board with the buff train than the nerf bomb. So far I've been loving the game. It feels a lot like GW1. Sure it's missing the ability to snipe from weird, almost impossible positions, but they invisible walled off all those places in GW2 also.
I just don't see things as being heavily out of balance as you apparently do. It needs some minor tweaks. But a ton of nerfing? A touch of it here or there, sure.
Honestly I felt like it was a seamless transition for me from GW2 to BFN. It can't be that out of wack if I could do that. It felt a lot more rocky from GW1 to 2.- 6 years ago@newbebop I wouldn't say it's been seamless for me character-wise, because I'm not a huge gamer like most people - PvZ is the only multiplayer I'm brave enough to play, so I don't have the experience you all do of similar styles in other games. On the other hand, I've been playing PvZ for at least a couple of hours nearly every day for about 5 years. (And yes, Ik that makes me sad, so pleeeease don't upset me by telling me so!) A number of the basic characters feel a bit off to me in different ways, but I didn't expect it to feel exactly the same - especially at this stage.
@Gowron248 I think you made a lot of great points in a balanced post about possible fixes/adjustments but probably one of the big reasons you two appear to disagree is simply over the word nerf, lowering damage is perhaps a better way of putting it?? Idk, I'm not an expert!
I think most of the tweaks needed are relatively minor, whether damage is buffed, lowered, or ability refresh times altered - I'm more worried about the bugs
