Failed to download patch

same thing happened to me but on PC, after isntalling the patch i enter the game and it says failed to donwload patch

didnt work, i reinstalled the game then cleared the cache then tried, and it didnt work, then i tried reparing game files and updating the game but it already was updated of course and still it didnt work, i had done all these steps multiple times before with the exception of the cache thing, thanks for the advice but do you have anymore? Now im pissed cause i have to work and i lost the limited time events that i only could have played this weekend but this stupid bug....

if only.... i did that many times and once even in another hard drive, just for testing since both of the drives i installed the game have more than enough space of course, i wonder if this problem happens often with people or i am just a bad exception 

got fixed today, origin said there was a download for PvZ BFN again and this time is was much faster and when it was done i no longer got the error, i think this is because today just started week 6 and this was probably the game's fault since nothing i did changed the bug 

• I haven't played the game in 3 weeks at this point on Xbox, I have tried everything.
• I have deleted the game
• I reset the Mac address
• I reset my router
• One potential problem is that when the game still worked it always failed to connect to ea servers the first time then after retrying logged me in.

Any ideas?

Same problem here on PS4.  Tried deleting and reinstalling 3 times - 12 GB download each time.

Went through troubleshooting steps this morning with EA tech support, with no change.

Their final suggestion was to contact Sony, as it's a PS server problem.  How can that be, if people are having the same issue on PC, Xbox, and PS4?
