@spIash_damageI'm trying to remember which characters have that as a possible upgrade?
I think I do have it equipped on one character (can't remember which) but know I either have it on a character select I use for PvE or it's one I'm completely useless with, so it kind of balances out!
I agree though, that it's an upgrade that is overly powerful for PvP (could possibly be acceptable if it was only usable in PvE??) & open to exploitation.
Throw the upgrade on Super Brainz and whatever else you want... punch upgrades, etc....
Go to any PvE zone and initiate a battle/skirmish.
Use the jump/pound ability (triangle on PS4) to get into a group of enemies without being shot to death getting to them. Immediately after that ability, spam punch a little and then throw an Ultra Ball.
You can use the jump ability evade damage and spam punches/ultra balls at the pile of enemies until the jump ability refreshes... never have to aim, just rinse and repeat the cycle. It’s as broken or more broken in PvE than it is PvP because there’s less heroes (enemies with ability to shoot).
Using the upgrade in PvE is what taught me to use it correctly in PvP.
Problem with PvP is that people who don’t know how to use the ability think they’re using certain characters inefficiently compared to others... left wondering, “how did he kill me/how didn’t I kill him/how’d I die so fast.”
Apparently nobody using the ability has confessed or discussed how overwhelmingly powerful it can be. Reminds me of Future Cactus with a rapid fire device.
