Frustrated here - you seem like EA employee.
Downloaded the Battle for the Neighborville for my kid - to play a story line for PS4.
Not interested in ops or any other aspect of the game as of this time, just want him to be able to roam.
Game loaded up and got me to the title screen, then I had to click "X" to sign into EA servers...
Next came the request to download some sort of "patch", then came the "unable to load the patch and try again", clicked "X" and the game moves me directly into Garden Ops where I am to build some Gardenator and defend it for 5 rounds of enemies.
Did that and nothing happens, it just starts over with the 1 round again.
In the top left corner, in the meanwhile, there is a green bar with percent count saying "downloading".
Can you help me out?

- 6 years ago@TLEsquire We are all hoping you’re right. It’s been downloading since 10am, it’s now 10pm and we are at 97%. LOL!
Thank you for the heads up.- 6 years ago@Claylordnator Absolutely 👍 Good Luck!
- 6 years ago@TLEsquire Thank you!
You were 100% correct. It downloaded and hopped over to the opening cutscene with the murderous sunflower.
We all stayed up way late just to play around in the now available areas.
That said - I still don’t really get it: bought the game in the online store and it downloaded within one hour.
Then it hops from fully loaded game to a download of death that took 12 hours.
I will just accept and enjoy it.
