Alright, I'm back. I finished my checklist and have some information that people may find helpful.
First, there is indeed 8 customizations per class. Additionally, unless I missed something it seems every class has 2 of each type of customization. For example, each zombie class has x2 Hats, x2 Accessories, x2 Facial Hair and x2 Tattoos. Finally, it seems there is a complete set for both 2016 and 2017. In other words you should get one of each per year. For example, in 2016 All Star got - Nutcracker (Hat), Garland Goggles (Accessory), White Beard (Facial Hair) and Brown and Green (Tattoo). The same is true for plants with hats, accessories, organics and tattoos. This makes it easy to check your progress. They also seem to appear just before FLF stickers but after TiZ.
Next, since there is 4 customizations per class in 2016, this means there are 56 from last year. Each Festivus 2016 pack gives 2 customizations and 3 consumable plants or zombies. (For the record there are 6 varieties of consumable, 3 plant and 3 zombies.) At 2 per pack everyone is looking at 28 packs for a complete set if they missed last year. At 40k a piece the total price tag is 1,120,000. (Ouch!) At least there is the whole duration of the event to collect those coins, unlike a 4 day RUX weekend.
This leads to my next point/inquiry. With 56 customizations for this year it seems even at 2 per day there will not be enough time to get everything during the event. (The snowman resets every 12 hours exactly, for anyone who didn't know. I personally tested this.) So, I expect we will need to pay for the left over customizations via sticker pack. (Unlike Halloween)
*Opinion time* I find this somewhat unfair. Don't get me wrong I like the fact there are a lot of festive customizations, nearly 4 times what Halloween had. But, the fact that there is no choice but to spend coins on the event feels a little sleezy. "Buy our winter packs and get free coins to use on the event..." I don't know, it feels less like a gift and more of a carrot to me. Here's some limited edition stuff (even rarer than RUX technically) better play a lot (during the busy holiday season) or spend real money to get it all before it is gone. Again, seems like a push for microtransactions to me. Add to that the large price tag on last year's items (multiplied by the large quantity) and it is quite a commitment for anyone without a coin reserve.
I don't know, feels like it might have been better to either reduce the snowman's cool down to 6 hours or place one per faction allowing for twice as many per day. (Obviously a snowman per faction would be easier on the player but both options get the job done.) The way it is now feels intentionally burdensome on the players. (That said, admittedly it is worst for players who weren't around last year. It is much easier for returning players.)
In any case, good luck everyone. I think I got most of the important stuff but if I find any other valuable information I will be sure to post it.
