February events 2018

Well, I'm happy that some of my recommendations are there🙂

Second week (Valentine):

  1. Rux appearance: Give something awesome for FREE, surprise us with your love. Let see ....

  2. Super Mix mode: "I got your back"  between Rose (heal) and Goat (damage), paired another character (Gnome Bomb or vanquish confirm)

Third week :

  1. Community Challenge: Revive or Heal assist 

Plus:

1. There're 3 rux visit, that's good.

Minus:

1. Where is boss hunt ?

2. Where is sticker packs special?

Power struggle returns for a third time now, but that’s counting the glitched 1 day one. 2 community challenges is a bad trade over a boss hunt. Kinda sad.

Rux all month is really promising!

I think the idea of Rux appearing every week. Many players who have completed their album of stickers (except for the rainbow chests) do not have to spend so many coins and we only play the Rux week to see what it brings again.

Now I will have to play more to collect the necessary coins to spend every week. In short, we will have to play more if we want to take advantage of Rux.

At least there is no boss hunts for February, but i'm further surprised about the fact that there is going to be FOUR visits from RUX, instead of three in January. The probability of any of the new RUX-Exclusive hats appearing in any of the four RUX visits may be unlikely, but not impossible. As for the Community Challenges, having two in the same month is unheard of. There's still no Cats vs Dinos event for the 2nd month in a row (I think).

The late part of this month happens to be an important one because GW2 will turn 2 years old. It therefore makes sense for the dev team to give us all something special to celebrate the birthday.

No Boss Hunt for February is an interesting turn of events. Don't mind to be honest since it can be so frustrating although success is so sweet!

Ah, I see Rux is indeed coming every week according to the icons on the image although not listed in the text. Good news really. I hope he keeps a mix of cheap and expensive items for players with less cash though! I have a ton but not everyone does.

I really do want to see a special event for the 2 year anniversary of this game, and hope part of it is news on a new GW game! (Wishful thinking but come on PopCap! Throw us a bone!)

Seasonal event....YESSS

I'm a bit late to the party, got back from vacation to find my internet out.

Anyway, Popcap, you had ONE JOB. This marks the 6th month since Squash made an appearance, and more over, the cycle is already broken. (Unless they do two in a month, Squash will again not be in October.) One Job... Now I'm hoping squash is pushed back to April, going to be really upset if it appears for the first time in over half a year when I am away for a family thing.

I get that people get frustrated with boss hunt but this is just not fair to new players looking to get the hats. The craaaazy hunts are not impossible even with randoms and no mic. (Brothers and Sasquatch I have done multiple times that way, Yeti only 4-5 times. Still, waiting for a second round with Squash.)

RUX coming once a week greatly lowers one of the main frustrations of the current game. But, it seems it came at a cost. Honestly, at this point boss hunt should just be added as a game mode. Just like Ops. Only issue then is trying to get a group of 4 in a specific boss hunt. (Can still do the hunts in the portal occasionally to ensure lots of people are around to fill groups.) One hat... cheated from me twice due to team disconnects (whole team not just me, server's fault), over 6 months to try again... ARRRRG...

I'm going to GW1 to kill people as the engi drone... It'll make me feel better...

I missed boss hunt already, especially Spooky Squash.

I miss the fun of boss hunt challenge, so please bring boss hunt back next month, Any Squash will be squashed !!

Since this week super mix event is battle of support between Rose (heal) and Goat (damage), I predict Rux will re-sell the Rose healing ability.

Then pair them with a tank in Gnome bomb event:

1. Rose - Citron

2. Goat - Super Brains/All Stars.

It will be an epic battle especially in overtime !
