[Feedback] GW2 AC Linux Compatibility?

Even if the GW2 team doesn't remove the AC, could y'all at least work on adding Linux and SteamOS compatibility? I hate that I have a broken game that I can't refund. Every time I see it in my library it's a reminder that my days of nostalgia are over. Adding compatibility would be a dream come true for me and the rest of the community.

    Any update on this? Quite a few players are unable to play this game due to the implemented Anticheat.

    @ZlordHUNWell when I contacted ea support about this they said "Medhavi: I was able to check with my team, the issue that you are facing seems to be an emerging issue to us, many players have contacted us regarding this and the issue has already been reported to the team, Our team is trying their best to fix this issue at the earliest. Please wait for some time and we will help you with a resolution as soon as possible, we really appreciate your patience." so maybe? or at least it was what they told me

    This is not an emerging issue. The game simply is not compatible with Linux and, with the age of the game, may never actually be. There are no updates, nor is there a team who will be updating the game to work on Linux, Steam Deck, or any other platform other than Windows or Mac in most cases.

    Hi @ninjagokatana, I cannot answer that as i was not on that contact. This is why those types of cases have to be reviewed. As CMs aren't supporters, we don't have visibility into what they can or cannot say. That is up to support not the forums.
