For some reason, when I'm on the screen where you can select a character, wheter it'd be a cactus or a pea shooter, when I select the plasma pea shooter, it freezes and I have to force quit the game. I currently uninstalled and am redownloading on my XBox as I am typing this now. Hopefully this fixes the issue. Anyone else having this issue?

Odd, it should be fixed, the issue before was scrolling on or past the Berry Pea. Avoiding highlighting the Berry Pea would usually prevent the freeze. This is Xbox One correct? What game mode are you playing? If you scroll left from default, are you able to select Plasma without a freeze? Have you tried rebooting the console? Are you able to get a video of what you do to get the freeze? It only happens on character select screen correct? What region are you in?

Sorry about the bad english...Me and my five friends who was playing with me yesterday happens the same thing! And the group chat was a mess, because whem we back to the game, the game dont understand we are in a group, and dont find out the session we was playing.

I've had this same problem too...I deleted PVC from my Xbox One & re-installed...Still the same...Come on EA sort it out !!!!

the plasma pea as infected my berry shooter as well
I hope they patch this in the a week ore two

Are you still getting this issue?

I'm now able to select Berry/Plasma Pea without issue.

I am still having this issue, after it's been redownloaded/reinstalled, it still freezes, but this time I was just scrolling through different peashooter variations, (berry, plasma, toxic, etc.), it froze and just force quit the game again. And it just happens at random. So there are times I can play through using the plasma pea shooter with success, but sometimes it will just freeze once I am at the point of selecting a new character.

Of course when I try to diagnose the problem further, it doesn't happen lol. So, lately it's been playing fine in all game modes. If it happens again, I'll be sure to record a clip of it.
