From the Italian Youtuber of Garden Warfare - What things we HATE

Hi, for those who didn't know me i'm the Italian YouTuber Kproduction

i made lots of videos of news on the Garden Warfare series and italians know me as the only one to take care of this game here in Italy

Battle of Neighborville is a very pretty game if we stop at see only the graphic quality.

BUT

WE, i speak for what the italian community that write on my comment of the videos, HATE some of the things of this game:

1) NO VARIANTS, the idea of take off the variants of the characters it's the most stupid thing that can happen with the Plants vs Zombies Series, i'm so so so disappointed, i will write what

we think about this in italian (translate this):

Le varianti erano l'unica cosa che spingeva il giocatore a giocare per ore per sbloccare nuovi personaggi e sperimentare sempre nuove possibilità di giocare una classe, inoltre essendo tantissime e livellabili, il giocatore era spinto comunque a provarle tutte e usarle per aumentare il proprio livello massimo, senza varianti se uno non è bravo con la sparasemi di base o la masticazombie di base.. non giocherà con quella classe. Inoltre avendo meno personaggi da provare la noia arriva molto tempo prima.

2) GARDENS AND GRAVEYARDS (OR HERBAL ASSAULT): the best mode of the Garden Warfare Series it's now a mode like Overwatch  in some of the maps, i hate that they change that mode that was perfect (one of the best thing of the Garden Warfare Series).

3) 30000 coins for ONE item??? I think they are joking, it's not possible that i spent 30.000 for one ... ONE...ONE..i say one? ONE!!! Item???? They remove the pack system that was the funny and curios thing of the other games, for a big price... so this it' a metod to force people to spent REAL money for the items???

4) Some of the abilities aren't working very well in this game, the Cactus that can fly not work well, also the ability of the Snapdragon to dive not do too much damage, finally i think that the acorn and the space cadet needs a cooldown for the ability to transform, because they can exit out of the trunk (ora space shuttle) and go into it after few seconds .

5) I hope that in the next (very soon) future they will release new maps (maybe following the time tour of Plants vs Zombies 2 but better than Garden Warfare 2), because the maps at lunch are few and looks similar.

6) Buff and nerfes are needed, of course, i'm very angry about the facts that they make the best balanced class of the previous games, the soldier, a stupid character that make low damage, buff IT!

A question about the coop game mode garden ops .. is it in the game now?? or not?

p.s: i hate those stupid YouTubers that lick the * of Popcap...when someone tho * on the game we MUST tell what we think, 

they want feedback? they have to listen what is good and what is bad.

  • @kratosgodofwar95 Unfortunately theyve had a month of ‘feedback’ and havent done anything with it so i wouldnt get your hopes up. Im praying we get some hotfixes in for next tuesday when week 2 launches but i wouldnt be surprised if we had to wait until Oct 18th for any meaningful fixes for these issues
  • I'm having a blast with this game but I also agree with a lot of your points.

    1: Variants: I love variants as well, especially when you get new weapons for the zombie variants, marine biologist was one of my favorites since GW1 for example. It looks to me like they're trying to give classes a narrower scope so there isn't so much overlap between variants of different classes. It should also be easier to balance, although currently balance is definitely a problem.

    2: Turf Takeover: Mixing these up a little isn't really a bad idea. I uninstalled Overwatch awhile ago as Blizzard can't balance a game to save their lives and the community was awful.

    3: Coins/capsules: From what I understand we will not be able to buy coins, but RL money will be used for battle passes and stuff from Rux. I too saw the cost of one capsule and thought that the coin packs would be coming but it appears not to be so. I again vote for cheaper options or getting more than 1 thing per capsule.

    4: Abilities: We fully agree here although I find the cacti's hover/flight superior to deadbeard's anchor. That anchor is too short ranged and doesn't seem to work well for its intended purpose; getting on higher ground. The station and oak need to be adjusted too.

    5: Maps: I saw 11 maps total on the website, some will be for non-TT modes and they mentioned adding more maps in future. More variety in map style would be cool but some people complained about the way the maps looked in GW2 when they did break from that so they're kind of caught in a catch 22 there.

    6: Balance: This is off for sure and needs fixing ASAP, especially Night Cap. In a game with so much focus on PvP it has to be looked at and the sooner it gets an overhaul the better.

    Ops are coming soon, week 3 (September 17th) per the schedule on the main page.

    Also agree, we need to give all feedback, positive and negative. I love the game so far but the aiming, performance, and especially balance issues need to be addressed. The longer it goes on the more people will leave or not get the game at all, it behooves them to act.

  • I agree with the posts and replies. People need to see action done towards making the game better to give people hope and stop from people leaving. I haven’t played the alpha so this is my first time playing. I have hope they will fix some stuff in the next weekly update, but even then I liked GW2 so much that I won’t give up BFN so easily. Plus even if PvP is unbalanced, PvE is still fun and entertains me after I get exhausted with PvP
