I have the same issue... the game lags so bad I can't even play it. I don't have this problem on any other games. I bet they are using the same old trash servers they ruin every game with.
Ever since the recent update of PvZ Garden Warfare there's been a serious problem with juddering and lag during the game, with players positions jumping all over the place. This seems to be more noticeable in the new tacho mode. I (kind of) understand that this is one of the problems with online gaming and that the server essentially make the absolute decision which characters are where, whilst the clients (PS3 consoles) tend to predict; without a constantly fast connection the problem would be even worse. I also understands it happens more so when when objects (players) bump into each other. However, I've never really noticed this in the past in other game modes but I do now in all of them. I have a 152MB connection, so quite fast, but it's getting a little intolerable. Can someone at EA, or a senior forum member, or even one of the developers who might come accross this please confirm that this is a known issue? You've got a cracking game which I love to play with my boys, but it's getting very frustrating . . . .

I have been having lag since the new update in the xbox360 version but the XB1 version is playing fine. It is frustrating because most of my friends are playing the 360 version so thats the version i play the most.

Hi guys, I need a little more info to help me narrow it down. Weve been playing live on all the different platforms here and are not experiencing issues. Can you tell us what countries you are playing from and what modes it occurs in if you havent already specified?
Im playing in north america. Im getting rubberbanding type lag in all game modes for the 360 version but its most noticable in gardens and graveyards, especially on the main street map. At times its completely unplayable.
Its odd because i have been playing since the game launched and lag has very rarely been a issue and im not experiencing any lag with the XB1 version.

Verrrry interesting. Thank you for specifying map. We will check that out
I spent some time this afternoon playing Gardens & Graveyards and im happy to report i didnt get any lag and the main street map played smooth for me🙂 I cleared my system cache so i dont know if that fixed the problem or it was something you did on your end but either way im happy🙂

Ya we hammered on Mainstreet yesterday and it was fine as well
Looks like I spoke too soon about my lag☹️ I tried to play suburbination last night and was getting rubberbanding type lag. I move a few steps and then get sucked back to where i was a second ago. Its hard to make any progress moving around the maps.
I dont think its my connection because I can host a garden ops match without any lag and I know thats ran on the hosts connection and im not getting lag in the XB1 version or any of my other games.
Strange thing was that after giving up on suburbination, I tried taco bandits and didnt get any lag.
EDIT: I forgot to mention I asked a friend I was playing with at the time and she was experiencing the same type of rubberbanding effect.
I should also mention this is happening with the 360 version. Not sure why i put this in the playstation forum.
