@Libits2008 I see what you mean. You need to log in online to play the PvZ games. You will be kicked from the game if you are inactive for too long (AFK), although all progress that you achieved before this happens will still be saved, such as Coins and XP you earn.
Thank you so very, very much. I'd like to play this game but walked away from it 3 times due to being kicked off. If I log in online, I can still play as a single player and not multi-player, correct?
- @Libits2008 Correct, you can either play by yourself against other random players in the Multiplayer modes, or you could even play by yourself in solo modes if you prefer. You will still get kicked if you are inactive for too long though, it has something to do with account safety or something.
- @TheSprinter85 Thanks so much for the help. I think I’m going to “call it a day” with this game. I’ll take it to GameStop and get a few bucks for it but I’m not going to put up with getting logged out. I have 3 kids, 4 grandkids, 2 dogs and a very needy ex-husband; interruptions are a way of life for me so this is unworkable.

If you were playing Plants vs Zombies: Battle for Neighborville on the Nintendo Switch, you have the option to play offline at any time, which should never kick you for inactivity. If you have the option to do this, you could purchase Battle for Neighborville on Nintendo Switch if you want to. The game does not get updates any more, but it goes on a large discount from time to time, so you could pick it up at some point if you wish. 🙂
This is probably the only way to pass the "inactivity" filter.
