Game won't start... at all... (PC)

Sorry to hear about this.

Can you please try creating a new Temporary Windows User Account, and see if you're able to launch the game under that Account?

You can also try running CCleaner: https://help.ea.com/en-us/help/pc/how-to-use-ccleaner-to-fix-pc-issues/

@iluminatethesky  welp i tried all of those recommendations but it doesn't seem to work unfortunately. Guess i will hope for a fix on 10th sept :D

Here's some other steps you can try that might help:

1. Update from DVI-D to HDMI:  https://answers.ea.com/t5/Dragon-Age-Inquisition/Directx-function-quot-FindClosestMatchingMode-quot-...

2. Turn off Scaling in Nvidia Control Panel:  https://answers.ea.com/t5/Battlefield-4/DirectX-Error-quot-FindClosestMatchingMode-quot/td-p/4223724

So even after the update nothing works... Can you at least TRY to optimize this game cuz even if my specs are below the minimum (which im pretty sure arent) it would at least launch the god damn game and not just load the Anti-cheat window and NOTHING after that...

We can't guarantee a game will function properly without any issues, launch at all, or really give you the most enjoyable experience if your rig is below system specifications for the game.

Can you upload a DxDiag for us so we can look at your specs and see what could be causing this?

i have the same issue with . my specs are above the minimum so thats not the problem. plz if you find a solution dont be afraid to share it

Your video card driver is from 2017, try updating that and then try launching the game again. Visit AMD's site for the latest driver for your AMD card.

Your Phenom processor is unfortunately below the minimum system requirements to run the game. We cannot guarantee you'll be able to launch the game or avoid any crashes/freezes while playing. We advise aiming for the recommended requirements if you intend to upgrade your PC in the near future.
